Transit, it's good for all of us! We may not all use it, but we all need it.

The Wake County Transit Plan provides a wide variety of transportation choices for Wake County supporting economic development, creating jobs, improved public health and a higher quality of life for us all.

Wake will fall behind other US metro regions, as well as Durham and Orange Counties, if we do not move forward with the transit plan soon.

"I support the Wake County Transit Plan that doubles bus service, creates commuter rail, and initiates light rail. I respectfully request that the Wake Board of Commissioners move forward with review and approval of this plan right away. I also request that the Wake Board of Commissioners give Wake County citizens the opportunity to vote on a half-cent sales tax referendum to fund the multi-modal transit plan."
